Try try try again?

I think I've forgotten my reasons for doing this!

Perhaps my reasons have changed this year?

Back to it.... conscious eating!!

Wishy-washy

Week one Went really well, but as soon as I hit Friday, it went to pot and ever since, I've been automatically fasting around 18 hours.  It's amazing how your body gets into a routine.

I'm just going with it for now,  see how I go. But, not eating from after dinner tonight. I am going to make a concerted effort to be done eating by six....

I've also gone off the water, and not been drinking enough water,  so lots of conscious drinking today!

:)

Day 12

Stupidly took a break... feeling rough as hell now!

Why won't I remember that binging makes me feel vile!

Still not had an ounce of alcohol, but can't say I'm missing it either.

Today,  I'm going to try a 36 hour at least. Considering I used to fast 48 from Sunday evening until Tuesday evening,  this should be easy, allowing coffee too!

I've got some test strips so might plan to see it through to ketosis for some serious fat burning action.

I need rid of these extra 70 lbs!

Interesting

From last year

This is how I progressed in 2013. And, if I can do it again, 5 stone by May, as I did then, I will be very impressed!  :)

So far. ..

Here's a before abd middle shot! I can't wait to update again on the 1st Feb!  :)

7.1.14

Week one complete and 6lbs down!

Going to give you all a weekly update from now on, or as and when I feel I have something to share.

This conscious business is what it's all about though!

Walking to school this morning,  I imagined what it would be like, not to be carrying around this extra five stone in weight!  Well, watch this space blubber!!

I'm looking forward to seeing a new less is more of me!

6.1.14

Still going strong.  Managed a 24 hour today. And broke fast with a yummy roast dinner.

Consciously prepared, consciously eaten! Yum!

And for afters?  Profiteroles!

5.1.14

I'd forgotten this feeling!
Listening to Celine Dion 'I'm alive'.

For those of you who haven't fasted yet, here is how it makes me feel.

I have stacks of energy.

My brain seems to work better.

I am more creative/easily inspired.

This doesn't feel like I am restricted.

I am in a place where this is normal. I just eat once a day, every day, simple!

The one problem I'm having, is that when I eat my one sensible meal a day, I'm eating past comfortable.  I need to sort this one out,  with the help of Mr Paul Mckenna!

Still loving my journey, year 2!!

4.1.14

Day four,  ate at 5:30pm. So did a 22 and half hour fast. Was very easy. I ate out tonight, cajun chicken. It was too much. Still within a normal daily consumption,  but too heavy on the tummy.

Started next fast right after eating, around 6:30. :)

Thursday 2 January 2014

3.1.14

Feeling absolutely fantastic!  I'd forgotten about the energy fasting gives you! I won't be doing a 24 hour fast today because it's getting a little late, and I don't want to be eating too late and going to bed.

I have a chart with my daily weights on, I weigh daily to stop the binge when I'm eating. It's interesting to see the natural fluctuations! I regularly change my mind on whether weighing daily is a good idea or not, but for now I'm going with it!

HAPPY FRIDAY everyone!

2.1.14

I am so proud, I have fasted another 24 hours!

Not as good with the water drinking today,  because I have been on the go all day.

Onward and upward! My fasts started at 6pm, so every night its starting later according to the time I eat, so when it gets so late that it's bed time, I'll finish earlier,  turning the fast to a shorter one. My aim is that while listening to my body, I will be leaving my stomach empty for as many hours as is comfortably possible!

Roll on day 3! :)

1.1.14 RESTART

Day one

Went really good, and amazingly easy.  This is now a 24 hour fast, and I've had a break of several months, dipping out with 18 hour fasts,  24 hours, and 48. Above all, I'd say go with your body and how you feel.

I have also given up alcohol.

Inspiration for my starting fasting last year was Dr Michael Moseley, Paul Mckenna, and... well Darren Brown!  ;)
